FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
How are your Roman Blinds made?Your blind will be beautifully created to the highest standard using traditional skills and craftsmanship, with no visible stitching on the face of the blind. The rods on the reverse are positioned so that they create a ‘waterfall’ effect. Hidden at the top is a strip of Velcro which attaches the blind to its headrail.
-
What lining do you use?I have selected a high quality blackout lining which means that that no light will pass through, although please note that there will always be a small amount of light seepage around the edges of the blind. A blackout lined blind is designed to dim the light in a room and not block it out entirely. It is also possible to have your blind lined in 100% cotton sateen if you prefer, or interlining can be added for additional warmth. Please just message for a bespoke quote.
-
How long does it take for my blind to be made?As each blind is individually made please allow a min of 4 weeks for it to be beautifully created. Occasionally we are able to reduce this time so please get in touch if your order is urgent.
-
How do I measure?Measuring is normally quite straight forward. Please see the ‘Measuring Guide’ for full instructions. We know how important it is to get this right so if you are in any doubt please just ask us, or send an image of your window. We love helping and our many years of experience can help guide you through the process.

Child SafetyWe are proud to be members of the British Blind & Shutter Association (BBSA) Make it Safe Campaign and as such we strictly adhere to all the current legislation regarding the chain length and provision of safety devices. Your blind will arrive already fixed to its headrail. This has the breakaway device integrated into the chain mechanism, therefore a separate safety box is not required. Additionally there are breakaway cord connectors on the reverse of the blind to ensure maximum safety.
-
How easy is my blind to fit?Very easy. Full fitting instructions will be sent when the blind is dispatched. The leverlock brackets are included and are designed to be either face or top fixed. You just need to supply the screws/rawl plugs suitable for your surface.
-
Can I cancel my order?Yes of course. If you contact us within 24 hours of placing the order we will cancel the order and refund your costs. If you contact us after 24 hours of placing the order and your fabric for the blind has already been cut, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund.
-
What is your returns policy? We really want you to be happy with your purchase so please contact us if you have a problem. We will always do our best to resolve it. We are happy to accept returns if the blind is faulty, however we are unable to accept returns if the wrong measurements were provided or if you are unhappy with the fabric without having seen a sample. Please note: goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements are non-refundable, unless faulty. In the unfortunate instance that an item is faulty please contact us immediately. If the item needs to be returned please ensure that it is securely wrapped in its original packaging. It is advised that returns are sent tracked and with adequate insurance.
